Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"I had high hopes for this place and it didn’t disappoint. It was exactly what we were looking for on our last night in Italy. La Cacio e Pepe & L’Amatriciana with a side of Patate Magna Roma. Reasonably priced too which was good. Highly recommend."
"Urban "touristy" vibe. Thr pizzas we ate at this place were not pretentious, even if they looked so when brought to the table. The recipes seem to be tailored for tourists not locals, as the food is a bit too salty. The waiter explained the peccorino cheese is supposed to be a bit saltier than parmeggiano. Although I don't see why the food should be salty because if this (if you know the issue, fix it, as in prepare it with less cheese), I liked the attitude and appreciated the effort. I would eat here again if it's close to my hotel and I'm not in the mood for exploring"
"Very good pasta! You should definitly try the carbonara. Nice setting. Sweet people"
"I found this restaurant thanks to a recommendation from a sicily local, I was hesitant at first because it is quite far from my hotel where I stayed. About the dish, it was literally the best carbonara that I have ever tried. Perfect pasta texture, the sauce was so smooth and creamy and shiny, the guanciale was crunchy as it should be. Unfortunately I was so full after the dish that I could not try the dessert."
"Excellent Pinsa,, crunchy on the bottom and with plenty good, fresh ingredients on top, I'll surely go back again before leaving Catania!"
"Food was very good and large portions. There was AC inside."
"Stumbled across this place on the way to the car parking and was surprised how good it was. Seems like quite authentic Roman dishes. Prices were absolutely fine, service friendly and dishes delivered quite fast. Atmosphere could be worked on."
"Nice little restaurant tucked in the side street, friendly services, nice simple tasty food."
